Frequently Asked Questions
Whether you're discovering Maison de Porcelaine for the first time or returning to refine your ritual, this is where we answer the questions our customers ask most often.
What is Maison de Porcelaine?
Maison de Porcelaine is a premium Korean beauty (K-Beauty) retailer based in Geneva, Switzerland, with an office in Paris. We are a curated online skincare store — not a porcelain, tableware or homeware brand. The name refers to porcelain skin, the Korean beauty ideal of a clear, even and luminous complexion.
We select dermatological and clean-formulation Korean skincare houses, verify each formula against EU cosmetic regulation, and ship them across Switzerland, France, the European Union and the United Kingdom.
Which Korean skincare brands do you carry?
Maison de Porcelaine is the official partner and authorised distributor of six Korean houses:
- d'Alba — Italian white truffle skincare, vegan-certified
- Abib — gentle barrier care built on Jericho Rose and rice probiotics
- Vegetology — K-vegan brightening with patented Viniferine, EWG Green-grade
- Dr. Solution — clinical formulas developed in Seoul dermatology clinics (PDRN, Bifida, Niacinamide)
- Vitamin U — anti-aging with patented Vitamin U and Volufiline
- Clean-Up — derma care for blemish-prone and post-procedure skin
Every product is sourced directly from the brand, never through resellers or parallel imports.
Where is Maison de Porcelaine based?
Our headquarters are in Cologny, Geneva, Switzerland, and our French office is Bureau de Paris, 229 rue Saint-Honoré, 75001 Paris.
Orders are fulfilled from two European logistics centres — one in Switzerland and one in France — operated with our partner E-Logik. Swiss orders ship from the Swiss centre, so they arrive as a domestic delivery with no customs formalities.
Are products on Maison de Porcelaine 100% authentic?
Absolutely. Maison de Porcelaine is the official partner and authorised distributor of every brand in our collection. Every product is sourced directly from the brand itself, never through resellers, parallel imports, or third-party channels.
Every product offered through Maison de Porcelaine is fully registered with the CPNP (Cosmetic Products Notification Portal) of the European Union. This guarantees that each formulation has been:
- Officially notified to EU regulatory authorities
- Verified for compliance with EU cosmetic safety standards
- Authorised for legal and safe distribution across the EU market
Your trust is the foundation of the Maison, and we honour it through this direct partnership model.
Are your products suitable for sensitive skin?
Yes, our formulas are dermatologically tested and designed to be gentle on sensitive skin. However, we always recommend performing a patch test before first use.
Are your products clean, vegan, and dermatologically tested?
Absolutely.
Our curation follows five standards: clean formulations, high performance on skin, refined Korean aesthetic, premium selection, and dermatological testing. The vast majority of our products are certified vegan, cruelty-free, and clinically tested. Specific certifications for each product are detailed on the product page.
We do not test on animals, and our products are cruelty-free as well.
Do your products contain parabens or sulfates?
No, our formulas are free from parabens, sulfates, and other harsh chemicals.
How long does it take to see results?
Results may vary depending on skin type and product usage, but many customers notice visible improvements within 2–4 weeks.
How should I store my beauty products?
Store your products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight to maintain their effectiveness.
